On Friday the 4th October an open day to introduce the new year 7s was in full swing! The year 13 BTEC business students (with the help of Mrs Aworth) arranged for the theme to be Monopoly based, in which the whole school was transformed into a real life giant Monopoly board with a grand prize of *drum roll* an iPad!
To win this iPad students had to work their way around the building collecting money and stamps from different faculties in the school, sacrificing their cash on quiz questions at the tax stations. At the end of the board, students could exchange this hard earned cash for prizes. The winner of which turned out to be a student from the Business Academy’s very own primary School - Julia Uscinska.
